Description Manuel Clos 2002-05-08 01:25:25 UTC
While using sawfish, if I maximize mozilla, new mozilla windows will be
maximized (as it happens in Windows).

Metacity doesn't seem to do this, so my bottom panel is covered by mozilla
every time, so every time I must hit the maximize button.

Mozilla should be remembering its own maximized state. If it doesn't
it's probably because Sawfish has been letting users work around the bug.

Metacity (and Sawfish) can't do this without accidentally maximizing
some windows that should not be maximized, it is broken to do it in
the window manager. (And I think off by default in Sawfish.)
