Description:
I do not know why the panel crashes. The automatic restart of the panel
works fine, though. Usually the crash happens when I launch something
from the panel icon; this far every crash happens when I have launched
statically linked Opera 6.0 B2 but since it is one of the two
applications with laucher on my panel I can't be too sure.

I'm using up-to-date stable Ximian desktop installation.

hank you for your bug report.  This particular crash is a known
problem that is being worked on.  Hopefully it will be fixed in GNOME
1.4.1.

Please try gnome-libs-1.4.1.6 and gnome-core-1.4.0.8 or newer. You'll
find RPMs of these packages at http://www.gnome.org/~kmaraas if you
can make use of those. It would be nice if you could report back here
if this fixes the problem for you.
