Terminal crashes on open.
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-terminal Severity: normal Version: 1.0.55 >Synopsis: Terminal crashes on open. >Class: sw-bug Distribution: Red Hat Linux release 6.2 (Zoot) System: Linux 2.2.14-5.0 i686 unknown C library: glibc-2.1.3-15 C compiler: egcs-2.91.66 glib: 1.2.6 GTK+: 1.2.6 ORBit: ORBit 0.5.0 gnome-libs: gnome-libs 1.0.55 gnome-core: gnome-core-1.0.55-12 >Description: Well... I had four gnome-terminals open on one desktop. I had switched to another desktop and proceeded to open another terminal. It just continually seg-faulted and continued to do so until one o' the seg-faults brought down all the terminals with it. My gnome-terminals are configured with shaded transparant background, no scroll bar, no menu bar, and I think that's it. >How-To-Repeat: Uh... Right now I just try to open a gnome-terminal... I fear that I'll have to restart X. I dunno how reproducable this is. Maybe it's just a freak. Debugging information: (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)...
