GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 80358
Feature request: Support for digital signatures and encrypted messages with GPG
Last modified: 2011-12-09 15:29:43 UTC
It'd be very nice to be able to use GPG with Pan, to make digitally signed and/or encrypted posts. The FSF has a library designed to make GPG-integration with applications easier: http://www.gnupg.org/gpgme.html
moving feature requests to 0.13.0. 0.12.x releases will be used for bugfixes.
GMime is adding signing support, so this will most likely happen in Pan 0.13.x, but not in 0.13.0.
Would it be possible to show the contents of a signed message before this feature is implemented? Right now if a message is multipart/pgp-signed then no text is displayed at all.

We are far past 0.13.x now, and into 0.14 series, so is there any progress on this?
the GMime code is done
Still unfixed

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
