Description:
i installed some additional ximian packages, started gnome, and panel
crashed.  i havent rebooted yet to see if it happens again.  i cant
start it via the shell--same thing.

Please try the latest (1.4.0.8) release of gnome-core. Also use the
1.4.1.6 release of gnome-libs to get any fixes from that.
