Description Vaclav Hlobil 2002-04-26 19:40:24 UTC
After guides are removed from image by draging out from image, GIMP leaves
ugly lines and do crazy things when moving a selection (faster).
Look at http://www.volny.cz/megadesign/GIMP/bug.html for screenshot.

Sounds a lot like a bug in your X-Server or GTK+. Unfortunately mine
seems to have a bug as well as I managed to freeze my machine two
times in a row when trying to reproduce the problem with GIMP-1.2.
(GTK+-1.2.10, XFree86-4.1.0 S3/Savage). The good news is that it seems
to work just fine with GIMP-1.3 (GTK+-2.0.6, same XServer).

I can confirm this bug. It's the same one as 22375 (so this has been
around since 1.1.early)

Dave.

The fix for bug #22375 is part of the stable release 1.2.4. Closing
this bug.
