Description:
I can reproduce this bug. I run the showview command of SDL in the art/arcade_spots directory of gltron-0.61 archive. After couple of images (I pressed cursor right to proceed) the deskguide applet crashes.

Please try the latest gnome-libs, gdk-pixbuf, gnome-core and
gnome-applets from the 1.4.x releases. I can't reproduce it here.
