How the menu shows

Units menu doesn't display correctly

GIMP version: 2.10.6 and older

Operating System: Windows, Ubuntu

Package: any

Description of the bug
When clicking on the units menu, under the image window, the menu doesn't show the units at once. Instead, it shows a large blank area, the "pixel" unit on the bottom, and one must scroll down to see the other units.

See attached image.

Reproduction steps:

Click on the units menu under the image.

Expected result: Seeing all the units to choose from. Or, at least, see the units that can fit in the menu, and scroll in order to see the others.

Actual result: a blank space is shown, and only the "pixel" unit in the bottom. Scrolling is compulsory.

This is GTK+2 design. We don't control that, sorry.

I do not see how this is related to the gnome-perl package hence closing as invalid. Also see the banner on top of every GNOME Bugzilla page.
