GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 797324
NetworkManager 1.14.3 does not detect mobile broadband devices
Last modified: 2018-10-24 08:22:15 UTC
Upon upgrading from NetworkManager 1.14.1 to 1.14.3, a Huawei USB modem that should normally be detected does not appear in the Available Connections list. This is not an issue with ModemManager, since downgrading to 1.14.1 allowed the device to be detected normally after using usb_modeswitch.
Please enable level=TRACE logging, restart NM, and provide a logfile. See https://cgit.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/tree/contrib/fedora/rpm/NetworkManager.conf thanks.
