Package: gnome-terminal Severity: critical Version: 1.9.3 Synopsis: yet another goofy gnome-terminal crash Bugzilla-Product: gnome-terminal Bugzilla-Component: general BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (1.114.0) Description: Description of Problem: Dragged a launcher to desktop using nautilus, and gnome-terminal crashed. I can't reproduce this crash on demand, but the following is the general formula. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Start a gnome-terminal window. Use it for a long time. 2. Do something with Nautilus. (usually, but not always, DND to desktop) 3. Crash Actual Results: gnome-terminal crashes Expected Results: nothing happens, as i'm not molesting gnome-terminal in any way How often does this happen? several times a day, but at long intervals. Additional Information: Ximian GNOME2 snapshots from April 19 on Red Hat 7.2. Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnome-terminal' [New Thread 1024 (LWP 20616)] 0x408e9e29 in __wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6
