I would prefer, if collapsing of the "Search" filed would not be enforced, while highlighting would be helpful.

This is about Evolution and not about the product bugzilla.gnome.org so it needs to be filed under Evolution at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/issues/
