Description Kat 2018-06-10 21:44:23 UTC
This is more of an aliases bug but I'm not sure where the right place to file these is now: please add sponsorship-committee@gnome.org to receive mail from sponsors@guadec.org
Comment 1 Andrea Veri 2018-06-11 07:34:49 UTC
Kat, that is done, you could have safely handled this yourself via [1], that as a future note :)

Comment 2 Kat 2018-06-11 09:05:23 UTC
Could you tell me how? :)

I see two problems with that:
1) I have nothing to do with the sponsorship-committee
2) it's the list of aliases that needs to be edited, not the mailing list
Comment 3 Andrea Veri 2018-06-11 09:11:11 UTC
Kat,

sponsorship-committee is a mailing list with a set of admins (Neil in this case), if you are required to have that m-l being able to receive emails (on the To or CC fields) from an email that doesn't match the destination (sponsorship-committee@gnome.org) you have to land an alias on the aforementioned URL, that's what I added. The additional point was you don't need external help as mailing lists are self-service in pretty much all the cases. If that's not what you requested please let me know.

Discussed this quickly with Kat on IRC. [1] should address what she requested on this side.
