Description Coeur Noir 2018-05-20 13:15:56 UTC
Hi,

create some layer text.

Add drop-shadow to that text.

Text layer + drop-shadow are then rendered into one single layer, so text attributes are lost.

I expected a new layer for drop-shadow, and text layer be kept safe.

Also drop-shadow layer ( or the consequent single rendered layer ) should resize accordingly to the size of the propagated shadow.

( gimp 2.10 from Otto's ppa with Ubuntu 18.04 here )

I see that as a bug because it « destroys » initial text.
