When creating a budget, if one has a placeholder account, for example, "Dining" as in the screenshot, with two sub accounts, "Food" and "Drink", initially, when one adds the budget values for the sub accounts, the value for the placeholder account is the sum of the sub accounts (in grey).

However, if one clicks (double clicks?) the budget value for the placeholder account, it no longer updates as the sum of the sub accounts (in black). I reckon this is to be able to set an overall budget for the placeholder account, but is there a way to revert to the summing behaviour?

One needs to delete the value entered in the top level account. It works. My mistake. Closing :)
