Evolution 3.26.6/WebKitGtk+ 2.20/Fedora 27: the content area for the view source window is blank. Menu bar, buttons and window title (with email subject) are all fine.

This is a regression versus WebKitGtk+ 2.18 - reverting to that version restores the content.

Thanks for a bug report. As mentioned in the "See also" section, this is discussed downstream, at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1560312 . It's a problem of WebKitGTK+ and in turn also Fedora, thus it's the best place to start with.
