Text in the attached file is vertically cut, screenshot attached.
Text is displayed correctly with Okular, Foxit software, Master PDF Editor and Adobe.

Thanks for your report.

The issue is in Poppler (the library used by Evince to render PDF). In particular, in the cairo frontend.

The issue can be reproduced using Poppler's own tools: pdftoppm renders the document fine, where pdftocairo does not.
