Description Electric Prism 2018-03-15 20:53:17 UTC
When I hide the menu bar I am unable to find a practical way to bring it back.

Right clicking on the toolbar near the title doesn't yield a "Show toolbar" radio box as I would expect.

Also, I am not sure what the default hotkey in Gnome is but in some applications Ctrl + M hides / shoes the menu bar.

The only way I was able to learn about hiding / bring it back was on a Ask Ubuntu page with this answer:

1. Open Terminal and run

$ gsettings set org.gnome.evolution.shell menubar-visible true

Is there a feature right in front of me that I don't understand or can't find or is it missing?

Thanks for a bug report. It's the Alt key, which is used to "call" menu actions when using keyboard, like Alt+F to open the File menu and so on.
