On starting up Gnome, things all load fine, except in the panel, where all of the applets load with question marks.  Then a message comes up saying the panel crashed.  Then the panel disappears.

I started up the computer and logged in (not as root)

Hello.  Thankyou for taking the time and filling out a bug report. 
However with out other information such as a stack trace, we can't get
much use out of it.  Please keep this in mind when you file you next
bug, and use bug buddy as it will do it for you.  Thanks.
