Please upgrade to gnome-core-1.4.0.7 and gnome-libs-1.4.1.5 and tell
us if this solves the problem for you. Also it would be nice if you
gave us more details about your system the next time you report a bug.
If you include distro, versions of GNOME packages etc, it will be much
easier to help you.
