Description Pacho Ramos 2018-02-12 17:10:55 UTC
This is an issue that also hitted Debian and caused the removal of the package:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=790597

Also in Gentoo we are trying to get rid of old gnome2 python bindings.

It would be nice if it could be migrated away from using this dead libs if possible

Thanks

Thank you for reporting this issue.

master now has the python-gnome2 dependency dropped. However, still depends on python-glade2, which I am going to start to fix it now.

There is another issue, introduced by the use of utf-8 characters in strings.
It is not hard to fix, but tedious :-)

I think I removed every remainder of python-gnome2 and python-glade2 in master.

Thanks a lot! :)

master now is free of intltool, python-glade2, and python-gnome2.

I am going to make a release in the next days, to give some time to translators to update the strings.

Thanks for your report.
