Description Ralf 2018-02-07 09:21:36 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

* Open a PDF document that you haven't opened before (so there is no stored zoom level or anything).

Expected behavior:

Evince should pick some reasonable zoom level to display the document.

Actual behavior:

Evince displays the document at >350% zoom, showing only some fraction of the first page. This is pretty much useless. Every single time, I have to first zoom out to be able to see anything of the document.

Possibly related: I have a 4K screen but configured Gnome to use a resolution of 1920x1080. Maybe Evince confuses the maximally possible resolution and the currently used resolution?
