Probably part of bug 72715.
How are you draggin anything to favorites? The favorites URI is broken if i recall correctly. Are you dragging it to the favorites icon in start-here?
Favorites works just fine :) And dragging from applications to favorites: [favorites: is the URL displayed in the location bar] still crashes a build from this morning. Trace is different now, though: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/nautilus' [New Thread 1024 (LWP 1246)] [New Thread 2049 (LWP 1280)] [New Thread 1026 (LWP 1281)] [New Thread 2051 (LWP 1282)] [New Thread 3076 (LWP 1283)] [New Thread 4101 (LWP 1284)] [New Thread 5126 (LWP 1288)] 0x40a43319 in __wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6

just for the record i did a completely clean install of redhat 7.3 without gnome 1.4 and used redcarpet to install gnome2 (obviously no prior gnome install is present) and favorites directory doesn't work at all. I'm really not imagining this...
seems fixed in CVS, please verify though.
