Description Pavel Pilát 2018-01-28 21:28:35 UTC
I have noticed that once in a while (I guess after update) GIMP searches for installed fonts when launching. That takes about half a minute on my system. All subsequent starts are then without this delay.

But recently everytime I run GIMP it displays the message:

Looking for data files
Fonts (this may take a while)

Takes 30 seconds as I said and then continues loading other GIMP modules which is rather quick.
