Description Gary 2018-01-27 21:09:42 UTC
I was working with a 21MB xcf file: 17413 × 2013 pixels. Using the Stroke command caused one of those generic "GIMP stopped working" dialogs. A few other commands caused hard crashes as well, like filling a layer with white paint.

I can't reproduce the errors, but shouldn't GIMP provide an error message, maybe even something useful for debugging purposes instead of just crashing? Just a thought. Anyway, thanks for the great software.

Hi!

I am actually working on it currently. See bug 792787.
This should be available by GIMP 2.10.
