Description usbkey9 2018-01-23 15:21:56 UTC
Hi guys,

It 'll be very useful if gnome-shell can do 2x2 snap with just "mouse bordering" (throw window to top/bottom left/right).
Right now, it's very cool but with big screen, you know ...

Can you do this, please ?

Thanks

Can you pleaes elaborate what exactly you mean by "2x2 snap" and "mouse bordering"?

In any case tiling is implemented in mutter, so reassigning.

I don't know what "quick tile" is either. If you mean keyboard shortcuts for tiling, it's <super>left/<super>right in GNOME by default. If you mean quarter-tiling ("top left", "bottom right" etc.), that's bug 696130. If you mean top/bottom tiling instead of left/right, that's bug 648984.
