GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 792650
Do the copyright years on the front page need to be listed out individually
Last modified: 2018-05-24 10:43:24 UTC
The front page of the docs currently shows the Copyright years as: Copyright © 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 The GIMP Documentation Team Can that be truncated as 2002-2017?
I'm no lawyer but I don't think that's much of a problem. I would just have done it without even bothering asking. :-) Anyway I believe that these copyright notices on webpages are mostly bollocks. Copyright of any document by their respective authors is the default in any country AFAIK. ;-)
