Description AsciiWolf 2018-01-17 15:36:06 UTC
Description of problem:
If you install any application using GNOME Software (Ubuntu Software) on Ubuntu, the newly installed application is not displayed on the "Installed" tab. It starts showing after the next system reboot. It does not happen on any of my Fedora machines, but it is probably an (Ubuntu-related) upstream issue according to the Ubuntu developer.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use the latest Ubuntu 18.04 build.
2. Run Software and find any application that is not installed and install it.
3. Switch to the "Installed" tab and try to find the newly installed application.
