GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 792579
Podcasts are stored in a hardcoded folder "~/Music" instead of $XDG_MUSIC_DIR
Last modified: 2018-05-24 19:40:45 UTC
While rewriting the user docs I realized that Rhythmbox 3.4.2 ignores my settings in ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs to store podcasts in the directory defined in XDG_MUSIC_DIR. Instead, it creates an unwanted directory "~/Music".
Once this is fixed, the user docs need to get updated: https://git.gnome.org/browse/rhythmbox/commit/help/C?id=fb6b877d10f41c506b96eeacda2f9e4c45db339f
