Description Jeff Abrahamson 2018-01-14 15:26:37 UTC
It would be very nice to be able (as an option) to left-justify account names in ledgers.

Context: In France, account numbers, at least the gross structure, are fixed in legislation. (While this seems insane at first glance, it does make it much easier to compare different organisations.) The result is that it makes quite a lot of sense to name accounts in French organisations with the account number first, because that provides quite a lot of meaning and context. (It also means the "only show leaf accounts" feature is quite useful here, too.)

So when viewing an account name in a ledger, the left side is far more important than the right side.

Thanks!
