Dark text on dark background in Incognito Window location bar.

When using a dark GTK theme like Adwaita Dark or HighContrastInverse, the location bar of Incognito Windows appear with dark text on a dark background. This happens despite the fact that Incognito Windows (intentionally) use the light variant of Adwaita as their theme, regardless what the desktop setting is, according to bug #695388 and bug #783912.

Is this another form of the WebKit bug linked to from bug #602217 (dark-on-dark text in web content widgets)?

No, definitely not. WebKit doesn't have anything to do with the location bar. That's purely a GTK+ CSS issue.

Confirmed with 3.26.5.1
Comment 3 Adrian Perez 2018-04-30 14:25:38 UTC
The patch I have just attached to fix bug #783912 fixes
this issue as well (at least for the few themes I tried).

Adrian fixed this for 3.29.2
