Description m.wege 2018-01-03 14:23:44 UTC
installed version does not appear in the version list. It is: 4:5.11.4+p16.04+git20171223.0044-0 (KDE Neon)

This bug was originally filled in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388472
I was directed here, because "which means that NM thinks you can connect to it and thuse we show it in the applet. This is unfortunately not a problem in plasma-nm, but in NM (in case the connection is not available) and you should report your problem to NM directly."

One of the networks I have configured is a network with an invisible SSID. I rarely use it, so it is rather annoying to see that network all the time in network list although it is not present. It would be better if this network only appeared in the list if it was available.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being shut down in favor of a GitLab instance.
We are closing all old bug reports and feature requests in GNOME Bugzilla which have not seen updates for a long time.

If you still use NetworkManager and if you still see this bug / want this feature in a recent and supported version of NetworkManager, then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/-/issues/

Thank you for creating this report and we are sorry it could not be implemented (workforce and time is unfortunately limited).
