Description Sebastian Schlatow 2017-12-29 16:00:57 UTC
Hi there, is Evolution planning to follow the path of other mail clients and implement Autocrypt? Seems like most major clients are planning on releasing support for it soon (K9, Thunderbird, Mailpile). Would be nice if Evolution follows and stays compatible.

Thanks for a bug report. As I mentioned on the evolution-hackers list [1], there is currently no priority for it, but patches are welcome.

autocrypt.org is pretty... unhelpful. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autocrypt at least allowed me to understand the basics.

This is a duplicate of
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/issues/375
thus I'm closing this. See the other bug for any further updates.
