flacparse: duration is not correct for 24bit depth output.
Last modified: 2018-11-03 15:25:00 UTC
When I'm tried with one 24bit depth flac file and find that the duration got is 8'09s, however this audio actual duration is 5'09'' Some player on PC also report 8'09", but VLC reported the correct duration. I'm wondering if this is related to the 24bit(3 byte) depth, seems I didn't find it use bps to deal with the duration

Not sure why this would be related to the depth. The header says it's just over 8 minutes long: gst_flac_dec_metadata_cb:<flacdec0> total samples = 23495157 23495157 samples / 48000 samples/second = 489.48 seconds = 8'09 Sounds you have a file that was truncated?
yes, according to the total samples and sample rate, it should be 8'09, but actually the file is 5'10. another possibility is the wrong information was stored in header.. I have this test file. but it is too big to upload in the ticket. (20M+) Anywhere maybe I can upload this clip?
