Mac OS 10.13.2  I have English as my primary language on the Mac in System Preferences and Spanish as the secondary language.  Gimp shows menus choices in Spanish.  If I delete Spanish from System Preferences then Gimp shows English menu choices.  It seems that Gimp should use my primary language rather than the secondary language.

This is fixed in more recent versions. The current stable version is 2.8.22.
