Description Alen Siljak 2017-12-21 19:05:02 UTC
In the 'Since Last Run' window, I prefer to always review created transactions. Hence, it would be great to have an option in the Preferences to set a default value to true rather than to have to check it every time there's a scheduled transaction reminder (which for me happens almost every second day practically).
Thanks!

I'd add a practical use case:
As I currently have 140 scheduled transactions with more left to migrate, this makes a long list in the Since Last Run window. This list is not sortable, so due transactions are dispersed all over the place.

Most of the scheduled transactions do not have strict occurrence dates and can vary widely, including not occurring at all (i.e. some funds skip quarterly distributions).
For this reason I need to put a due date to the latest day these occur. Then, in order to enter them when they happen earlier, I need to have a Reminder set so that I have an option to enter them from Since Last Run window.
Now you can already imagine that the long list gets plenty of "Reminder" and "To-Create" actions. Sifting manually through them is a bit painful.

I also prefer to enter one or few transactions at a time (depending on which statement I get) and leave the others for later. This is to confirm that my templates are (still) correct and that I have entered the formulas correctly.
Also, when a transaction happens during the Reminder time, I have to adjust the posted date on the transactions (which are set to the Due Date on enter).

The remaining functionality is covered (more or less) in the following requests:

   https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=792121
   https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=792241

I'm posting this for reference.

This, also, would not be required for me if https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=660375 was implemented. This item would allow to use the Since Last Run window only for notification. The transactions could be cherry-picked from the Scheduled Transactions list window.
