Description Ben Bethge 2017-12-17 23:00:21 UTC
When I scroll the character table down at least the four rows, I cannot scroll back up to see the first four rows using the scroll wheel, or by dragging the scroll bar, or by clicking the scroll bar trough. If I scroll fewer than four rows, then I can’t scroll up to those rows. I can get back to the top by clicking on the Unicode block name to the left.

This does not happen when “Snap columns to powers of two” is enabled, and when it is not, changing the width of the window will occasionally make the problem go away.

This was found on version 10.0.3 compiled on Xubuntu 17.04 (as well as version 9.0.3 which came from the package manager).

I've noticed that as well.

However, using the 'snap to powers of two' setting doesn't make it actually work here; the problem is still present.
Comment 2 Ben Bethge 2017-12-23 17:34:33 UTC
It’s actually not four rows but one less than the number of rows displayed. Sometimes the problem goes away after using gucharmap for a long time, but it is (almost?) always present at startup.
