Description Frédéric Parrenin 2017-12-13 13:50:00 UTC
I have created an account in Geary and now I want to modify the SMTP server.
This does not seem to be possible.
So I have to remove the account, create a new one and download all emails again.
This seems to be suboptimal.
Why not allowing to modify the servers in the account dialog?

Yeah, this is pretty annoying. It has already been reported in Bug 714751, so marking as a duplicate of that, but in the mean time you can change it by quitting Geary, editing ~/.config/geary/ACCCOUNT_ID/geary.ini, and starting it again. Use with care!
