Test Suite Log

Hello,

I'm trying to build the 1.8.3 version because in my experience this version had better performance with V4L2. The build is failing during the Test suite with the attached error log.

Thanks for the bug report, but please understand that we're not particularly interested in debugging test failures in old versions of GStreamer.

If you can reproduce these with a recent version (1.12.4 or git master), please provide details (stack traces, GST_DEBUG debug logs) for those failures.

Run 'make help' in tests/check/ to see available options.

I'll add that there is no reason why 1.8 would have better performance when using V4L2. If you have seriously tested this against git master and see any performance regression, then please file a bug accordingly and we'll fix it.
