GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 791158

Last modified: 2018-01-15 21:23:28 UTC
when I go into gnome-control-center -> devices -> colour -> view details (of any device listed) -> from sRGB/to sRGB, no image is shown. Log tells me: $ gcm-viewer[1901]: failed to load viewer-example-00.png: Failed to open file '/usr/share/gnome-software/figures/viewer-example-00.png': No such file or directory in fact, they are in the gcm folder (which logically should they be...) $ find /usr/share/gnome-color-manager/figures/ /usr/share/gnome-color-manager/figures/ /usr/share/gnome-color-manager/figures/viewer-example-01.png /usr/share/gnome-color-manager/figures/viewer-example-02.png /usr/share/gnome-color-manager/figures/viewer-example-03.png /usr/share/gnome-color-manager/figures/viewer-example-00.png I'm using Arch Linux x86_64, gnome 3.26.2 googling I found also this bug report, https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=878648
Created attachment 364865 [details] [review] build: Set PKGDATADIR to gnome-color-manager It’s most probably because of a copy-paste error in meson.build. This simple on-liner patch should fix it, although I haven’t tested it.
Comment on attachment 364865 [details] [review] build: Set PKGDATADIR to gnome-color-manager Richard accepted it on IRC, pushed: https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-color-manager/commit/?id=275b4ef55dd95b3842724a94f77115f87f79f8c2 It will be included in the next release (3.28). Please reopen the bug if it’s still broken then.
