Showing menu gap in gnome-terminal when above 2nd monitor top

I have a dual monitor setup using my laptop. The external HDMI one is setup at 1920x1080, and the internal at 1360x768, and virtually positioned on the right bottom to the other. I do this in order to be able to have a consistent display (the laptop monitor is small).

When using an application like gnome-terminal (and others). If the window is located in the upper part of the big screen, if I click on a menu, it displays the menu content with a gap, putting it at he level of the top of the other monitor.

I attach some images.

$ xrandr -q
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 3280 x 1080, maximum 8192 x 8192
eDP-1 connected 1360x768+1920+312 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 293mm x 165mm
...
   1360x768      59.80    59.96*
...

HDMI-1 connected primary 1920x1080+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 531mm x 299mm
   1920x1080     60.00*+
