Description Adonay Felipe Nogueira 2017-11-29 13:38:52 UTC
This request for enhancement is a human-made translation from Brazilian Portuguese to English, based on a discussion on the gnucash-br mailing list, the original message can be found in [1].

Based on [1] I was made aware of a usage scenario where one would want to get a report of all items that were/are already billed for a given customer. GnuCash currently works well in simple cases where one wants to register that a pre-paid check from a given client was received and where the requested items are billed afterwards. So each bill is made by the GnuCash user and he is also allowed to process the values received in advance.

For information purposes: when the bills are made, the GnuCash user inserts information of the product that was sold, its quantity and the bill's value.

The problem is that after some time, the GnuCash user wants to know what was already billed, and we were unable to find a report that lists all bills, or (optionally) all items of the bills, of a given period/term/interval.

The columns currently wanted in the report are:

- Bill date;
- Bill number;
- Client;
- Billed product;
- Quantity billed;
- Unity/unitary/single price;
- Total price of the item.

Parameters:

- Bill issue date (From - To).

Finally, the enhancement was suggested by the author of [1], Eduardo Estefano Neto. I, Adonay Felipe Nogueira, am acting as a translator. Besides this, decisions of whether this should be a paid enhancement or not are left to the original author and the developers who want to participate.
