Description Stuart Axon 2017-11-23 21:03:39 UTC
One of the remotes in my .ovpn file had udp6 as the protocol much likes this

remote vpn.domain.tld port udp6
remote vpn.domain.tld port udp

examples from here:
https://serverfault.com/questions/651832/openvpn-with-mixed-ipv4-and-ipv6-clients

In the cli import it lets me know there is an error on that line.

In the GUI it displays an unhelpful error about plugin import failed.

The linked examples are not complete. Please provide a full ovpn file to reproduce the issue.

Anyway, this should be fixed already. See https://git.gnome.org/browse/network-manager-openvpn/commit/?id=3c5c7efba75ffd121be3b0ac179c36ca9aa772b0

Please reopen, if the issue still exists. Thanks.

The fix looks good to me on first parse, thanks for having a look at this ticket.

Apologies for not posting it, reported after work when I didn't have the actual file (+ would need to redact parts since it's for work @ ${gov-department}).
