Description Dan Jacobson 2017-11-22 06:59:57 UTC
'Search the web' as found in Right click menus,
should switch to the new window created.
The user will want to see it sooner or later, why not sooner, and save him a point and click? That's how other browsers do it.
One often uses ephy because one does not have a lot of memory.
Without a lot of memory, one does not want a lot of windows accruing.
So one wants to switch to, finish reading, and close extra ones, like search ones, soon.
So, unless a Preference is to be offered, please consider changing the default behaviour. Thanks.
