GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 790369
accounts.firefox.com/settings/clients?service=sync looks blank
Last modified: 2017-11-15 14:34:45 UTC
Login to https://accounts.firefox.com/settings/clients?service=sync The page becomes blank. Trying again with other browsers though works.
That's odd. Epiphany successfully loads the page every time I visit the URL. The blank page was a one time incident or happens every time?
(In reply to Dan Jacobson from comment #0) > Login to https://accounts.firefox.com/settings/clients?service=sync > The page becomes blank. Not here. Epiphany 3.26.2 on Fedora 27.
OK I see what is going on. The page "fully loads" (the button on top becomes "↻") afterwhich the screen is just all white. Then about after a second or two the details get filled in. If network conditions are bad it may take several seconds. During which time all indications that the page is not yet ready are absent (spinners, etc.) I suppose this is all javascript so there is nothing ephy can do about it. Must blame the page designers.
Yes, that page is entirely JavaScript, and may take a few moments to be loaded.
