Screenchot of the gnome-music

When I lauch gnome-music with the builder there is no TAB, gnome music is completely empty.
Comment 1 Aswin Mohan 2017-11-08 18:27:31 UTC
That is because XDG_MUSIC_DIR is not set while running through flatpak. This stops the music app from finding the files, hence there are no tabs.
Comment 2 Jerome Thiry 2017-11-27 11:34:38 UTC
Do you know how to set the XDG_MUSIC_DIR variable for flatpak when running gnome-music from builder? I've searched but found nothing on how to set it.
Comment 3 Jerome Thiry 2017-11-27 17:38:36 UTC
It appears that Query.MUSIC_URI is None, and Query.music_folder is None as well. I'm running flatpak 0.10.1, gnome-builder 3.26.1 and building gnome-music with the settings from the org.gnome.Music.json file.

When building, I have the same screen as Florian Darfeuille. I guess the flatpak sandbox has no access to the ~/Music dir but I don't get how to grant this access from gnome-builder.
