gnome-software spams this message to journald: nov 05 16:24:08 Gamercitita gnome-software[1821]: Ignoring unexpected response nov 05 16:24:08 Gamercitita gnome-software[1821]: g_byte_array_remove_range: assertion 'index_ + length <= array->len' failed CPU is at 100% all the time (one core) and when the RAM is full, the computer is almost completely freeze. In my particular case, I can reproduce it every time I open Matlab R2016b. But it happened without Matlab. More information (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/1723362)
If you kill it, then run 'gnome-software --verbose' can you attach the complete log please.

I did it. When I have run 'gnome-software --verbose' but I wasn't be able to reproduce the bug. But when I have run 'gnome-software --verbose --gapplication-service', I was able to reproduce it again.
"Snapd Ignoring unexpected response", the issue seems to be in the snap plugin, looks like an uncorrect handling for that error Robert, maybe you could have a look?
This seems to be an issue in snapd-glib, which is better handled in the Launchpad bug (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/snapd-glib/+bug/1723362)
