Description Jakub Steiner 2017-11-03 14:18:33 UTC
Even core apps should ship their own app icon.

- to move to the great new Flatpak future, Apps should rely on shiping
their own app icons, their identity. For more context, see

  https://wiki.gnome.org/action/edit/Design/Whiteboards/CoreAppPresentation
Comment 2 Jakub Steiner 2017-11-03 14:19:55 UTC
I did my best to make it all work, but I'm not sure about the highres. The aboutbox shows the symbolic variant instead of the 512.
Comment 3 André Klapper 2021-06-10 11:22:36 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version of gnome-dictionary, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-dictionary/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
