Description Sitsofe Wheeler 2002-04-17 18:04:48 UTC
The scaling/rendering of the favicon for sites that do not automatically
load favicons such as http://distributed.net/ or http://hotbot.lycos.com/
often looks terrible. Both these sites will have to be in your bookmarks and
the favicon forcibly downloaded from the bookmark editor.

Both Mozilla and Konqueror produce nicer looking icons of a similar size
without problems and if these are copied to the galeon favicon directory
they are displayed without problem.
Comment 1 Yanko Kaneti 2002-04-17 18:13:22 UTC
Both mozilla and konqi pick the right icon(16x16) from the compund
icos for these sites while galeon picks the first icon, which is
usually 32x32. For this we depend on gdk-pixbuf

Verifying.
