GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 789289
Waking up from hibernate/suspend sometimes shows the unlocked shell
Last modified: 2017-10-21 18:06:45 UTC
On my Fedora 27 system (and also on F26 before), when I wake up my machine, I often see the unlocked shell with all content for a short period of time – before the lock screen gets displayed. On my Debian Stretch (Gnome 3.22) system at work, it happened lately, that my internal (secondary) screen showed the unlocked shell PERMANENTLY, while the external (main) screen showed the lock screen. But I didn’t try to interact with it, so I don’t know if it was responsive. I use Wayland on both systems with everything up to date.
Thanks for taking the time to report this. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 753678 ***
Yes, but it happened once (two weeks ago), that the desktop was not temporarily, but permanently visible!
But just on one screen however… O_o Should’ve taken a photo.
