GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 789231
connecting to a WPA-enterprise network from gnome-shell opens up the "Networks" panel instead of the Wi-Fi panel
Last modified: 2017-10-20 18:18:21 UTC
When selecting a previously unknown WPA-ENTERPRISE Network using gnome-shell "select network" popup, gnome-control-center is automatically started with the "Network" panel open. But in gnome 3.26's new control center this panel only lists Wired, Mobile Broadband, VPN connections and Network Proxy setup. WiFi configuration has been moved to a separate "Wi-Fi" panel, which I think should be opened instead.
Created attachment 361952 [details] [review] network: Spawn wifi panel for further WPA enterprise configuration Settings recently split Wi-Fi configuration from the Network panel, so launch that instead.
Review of attachment 361952 [details] [review]: oops, hopefully this is the last one
Attachment 361952 [details] pushed as aa08585 - network: Spawn wifi panel for further WPA enterprise configuration
kudos for the speedy resolution. I'll test the update as soon as it lands in F27 beta
